Teddy bears picnic at Sudley House

If you go down to Mossley Hill today, you’re sure of big surprise!

Little teddy bears will be having a lovely time at Sudley House, Mossley Hill on Saturday 18 August at their very special teddy bears’ picnic.

From 11am – 4pm visitors can relax with their picnic; listen to well-loved stories, and take part in fun teddy bear arts and crafts.

And if your picnic runs low, Sudley House café is serving delicious food and refreshments from 11am until 3.30pm.

Children, staff and their teddy bears will be available!

Highlights include:

• Join us on a teddy bear adventure as we invite children to use their imaginations to go on a teddy bear hunt.


• Create your own special teddy bear mask to take home.


• Have a go at decorating a yummy gingerbread teddy with our friendly café staff (a small charge applies).


• Teddy bear tales with our storyteller.

An Age of Confidence: Photographs by Bedford Lemere & Co continues at Sudley House until 30 June 2013. Featuring 24 beautiful photographs the exhibition gives a fascinating insight into a vanished world of Victorian and Edwardian Liverpool.
