Diners at one Liverpool cafe are seeing double.
Twins Sami and Stef Rose leave customers guessing who's who and enjoy keeping them confused.
Although not completely identical, the 32-year-old twins, say they regularly have to explain the "stereo service" to baffled newcomers.
Sami said: "Customers have a double take all the time. It's quite fun seeing their jaws drop. People usually go, 'Oh my God I'm seeing double!' but we are used to it so we just smile and explain."
Stef has been at the Contemporary Urban Centre Cafe in Greenland Street, Liverpool, for more than a year and was recently joined by her sister Sami.
But they also worked together a couple of years back at a cafe in their home town of Hebden Bridge, West Yorks.
Said Sami: "Customers are quite amused when they realise they are being served by twins And, once they get used to it, people like the challenge of having to identify which one is which. It's a game we've played all our lives since we were little."
Not only do they look like peas in a pod, the Rose twins' identical voices also confuse people
Stef, who is the youngest by 20 minutes said: "Some people think have got us sorted-out and can tell which is which.
"But then when we open our mouths they tell us that we sound exactly the same.
"Even our mum gets confused on the phone. We have to tell her which one of us is speaking."
The girls put their voices to good use, having performed as a vocal duo for the past 15 years.
Starting under the name "Wild Ginger" they also spent three years as part group named "The Sylvias".
Sami said: "Stef is an amazing singer/songwriter and plays guitar. I play base and do the harmonies.
"We used to perform as a duo for many years and then we were a four piece band for three years, but that didn't work out.
"Hopefully we'll be working together in the future.
"I write all the songs and sing, I'm recording two albums at the moment", added Stef.
Stef has been working at The Cafe for a year and Sami joined her a month ago and enjoy working together.
Added Stef: "We are two Sagittarians, working together and the astrologists say we are meant to make good business partners.
"Certainly we work together well as a team because we're always on the same wavelength."
