Fashionable London eatery Patisserie Valerie will open it's first Liverpool store this month in the Metquarter.

The fast expanding chain, a favourite of celebrities in the capital, is spreading its operation after new stores in York and Leeds have proved to be a roaring success.

Patisserie Valerie's clever combination of early morning breakfasts, delivered catering and a dazzling array of indulgent offerings promises to bring a fresh alternative for diners in the cities high fashion mall.

Jennina O’Neill, Centre Manager of Metquarter said, the new store will sit well among the high-fashion outlets which already reside there.

She said: “We are excited for the arrival of Patisserie Valerie at Metquarter, I believe as a brand it will sit well alongside the likes of Jo Malone, M.A.C, Gieves and Hawkes, Phase Eight and L.K. Bennett who have recently moved inside the mall”

Patisserie Valerie’s Chief Executive Officer Paul May said: "We provide a dazzling array of pure indulgence in the form of our delicious cake range, but we do not neglect the basics of breakfasts, lunches etc matched with quick and excellent service.

"Many business breakfast clubs use our facilities early in the mornings for example. We believe that we will only add to the shopping experience at Metquarter"
