A Liverpool restaurant with the most commanding views of the city has been shortlisted for two prestigious industry awards.
Panoramic, just off Old Hall Street, Liverpool, has been nominated in the Best Platinum Restaurant and Best Dressed Restaurant categories of the Hi-Life Dining Awards 2011.
More than 100,000 members of the Hi-Life dining card cast their votes to decide on the finalists of the awards, which identify the UK and Ireland’s most outstanding restaurants.
Sarah Corcoran, Managing Director of Panoramic, said: “We are absolutely delighted to have been shortlisted for these awards. Whilst it is always fantastic to be recognised by our industry colleagues, what makes this achievement so special for us is the fact that these nominations have been made by the people we serve.
“Panoramic is more than just a fine dining restaurant – as the UK’s highest freestanding restaurant, a visit here really is a very special experience.”
Since opening almost three years ago, Panoramic has emerged as one of the city’s ‘must see’ venues. A favourite with the city’s business sector, Panoramic was chosen to host the MTV pre-awards party in 2008 and recently saw a record six marriage proposals made in its dining room in just one night.
The Hi-Life Dining Awards ceremony will be presented by BBC Northwest Tonight presenter, Gordon Burns, and will take place on the evening of January 28 at The Hilton Deansgate, Manchester.
