Click Liverpool checked out the Malmaison's burger and drink offering during the Euro 2012 championships.
We enjoyed the MalBurger and a schooner of Heineken. The atmosphere during the matches in the hotel's plush bar is palpable with excitement during England's tense conquering of Sweden, but it also retains a sense of sophisticated cool.
The MalBurger was a succulent piece of mouthwatering steak all topped off to perfection with the Mal's own distinctive relish and fries - all for the tasty price of £9.95 during the match.
With the sophisticated backdrop of the the Mal’s Plum Bar, the matches are more fun to watch, with a mixed crowd of hotel guests, England fans and businessmen.
And with the early kick offs, workers exiting the office at 5pm and trying not to miss a minute of the match will be heading for the bar.
