With Leaf on Bold Street now established as a hot spot for chilled out afternoon teas, cutting edge new music & gorgeous food, the team are bringing their much-loved events to the heart of Liverpool city centre this month.
Thursday 20th welcomes the off-the-wall duo Pigeonhole Disco for a spot of midweek mayhem. Showcasing a handpicked selection of electronic gems from the past 30 years, this duo keep the party pumping until the early hours with their eclectic mix of techno, disco, house, hip-hop and soul.
For those looking for a more relaxing way to get involved in Leaf on Bold Street, Monday 24th welcomes with open arms the launch of Gutter/Wall Poetry Night, set to bring the best new and exciting established poets to Liverpool and Saturday 22nd see's the first Afternoon Tea session at the new venue.
This timeless English tradition takes a modern turn at Leaf with a selection of delicacies from our savoury and sweet menus. With more tables to showcase the beautiful three-tiered stands of cakes than the Leaf Baltic venue; booking is essential for an event that's perfect for a day with the girls or family alike.
On Sunday 30th January, Retro Sundays returns to Leaf on Bold Street for their second outing in the new space.
Come and rummage through the stalls as they take over the second floor; a bright open room with a full wall of windows that's fast becoming a much talked about event space. Retro Sundays is a relaxed and laid-back way to shop for unique, vintage bargains.
On top of this, the T-Shirts and Suits Coffee Club and Johnny Sands acoustic sessions kick off this month as Leaf on Bold Street eases into the New Year with a calming and sociable January line up.
With hundreds of detoxifying teas or pick me up puddings, Leaf on Bold Street is on hand with winter warming hugs this month; an alternative haven in the heart of Liverpool.

LEAF love hosting the T-Shirts and Suits Coffee Club, an informal, free, networking event for creative people involved in and interested in the creative industries.
The events are informal and open. With no membership and no need to pre-register, just turn up and join in. There is no formal agenda or meeting structure; just come along and chat with friends and contacts old and new. The meetings are free - just buy your own coffee or tea and bring a friend or two!

Pigeonhole Disco 2011 Residency Launch
Pigeonhole Disco doesn’t like conformity in any area of life, which would explain why they have chosen January as the month to launch their new residency at Leaf on Bold Street!
Bringing midweek clubbing to the high street; Pigeonhole Disco, aka Gareth Cheshire and General Jimmy, will be sourcing beats from the last thirty years of electronic tomfoolery.
The whole shebang is free, so come down and sup a beer or if the detox is still in full swing, try one of our glittering arrays of teas and prepare the ears for some techno, disco, house, hip-hop and soul indulgence.

Afternoon Tea Launch
As part of our pledge to provide the most delicious winter warming events, Saturday 22nd January sees the introduction of our popular Afternoon Tea to our new Bold Street venue, to be held every weekend.
Bringing back the long-standing English tradition of Afternoon Tea, we will be combining exquisite homemade tasters from our savoury and sweet menus. Serving a selection of finger sandwiches, scones with homemade jam and clotted cream, and a fine array of mini cakes and fancies all presented on a decorative three tier stand, washed down with an unlimited supply of sumptuous teas - all for under a tenner!
