Beatles cocktails kick off Mathew Street Festival at Liverpool ONE'S Zeligs

Zeligs in Liverpool ONE is giving festival-goers something to ‘Twist and Shout’ about this Bank Holiday by creating some limited edition Beatles-inspired cocktails exclusively for the Mathew Street Festival weekend.

The cocktails are inspired by the Fab Four and include the exotic ‘Here Comes the Sun’, influenced by George Harrison’s love of Indian culture, and the piquant ‘Sergeant Peppers’ which is a fiery take on the classic Bloody Mary.

Devised by award-winning mixologist Nick Skillicorn, 21, the limited edition cocktails will be added to the already impressive drinks menu on offer over the weekend.

Nick says: “We decided to create these cocktails to link in with the line-up of Beatles tribute acts playing at the restaurant and bar over the weekend, and are looking forward to seeing how they are received.

"My favourite is the Sergeant Peppers cocktail which has a real kick to it – if you like your cocktails to pack a punch then this is the one for you!”

The limited edition cocktails will be on offer from Thursday 26th August to Monday 30th August at Zeligs of Little Italy, Liverpool ONE.
