Albert’s Schloss – Liverpool’s best kept foodie secret

Albert’s Schloss has become a firm favourite for a boozy night out since its opening in December 2022 but hidden behind the extensive beer and cocktail list is a foodie heaven just waiting for you to visit.

You can start your day with their Rise + Shine Brunch which offers Sweet and Savoury breakfast dishes from Turkish Eggs to Berry Topped Pancakes. In true Schloss Spirit the DJ Angel of the Morning will be around for the Rise + Shine Request Line from 10am. All pastries are basked fresh on site and are available to take- away if you fancy a sweet treat later in the day. Breakfast is served Monday – Sunday 9-11:30am.

Albert’s Schloss also claim to offer one of the best Sunday Roasts in the city – perfect ahead of this weekend’s Sunday St Patrick’s Day Celebrations! Their roasts are served with all the trimmings including roast potatoes, root vegetable mash, seasonal greens and loads of proper gravy! You can choose from Sauerbraten Beef Wellington, beef sirloin, Bavarian pork knuckle, roast chicken or the vegan no-nut roast.

You can also add on extra sides including their Cauliflower Cheese, Sformatio (Baked Truffle Mash) and Schweins in Blankets. Sunday Service runs every Sunday from 12-9pm.

Outside of their Sunday and Breakfast offering you can access their anything-but standard Cook Haus Menu. You can indulge in a rich and indulgent alpine inspired menu with star dishes like Fondue, Schweinshaxe and Pan-Fried Schnitzel with their in- house bakery, producing artisan bread, pretzels, pastries and puddings paired with fresh, daily roasted coffee.

The Cook Haus has something for everyone from small plates, Schnitzels to Schloss Klassics, all accompanied by fantastich showtime performances. And if you really feel like a treat you can indulge in the Bavarian Feast – made to share which offers you some of the menu’s best bits including Roast Pork Knuckle, Chicken Schnitzel, Bratwurst, Kaiserwurst, Chilliwurst, Pork Belly, Braised Red Cabbage, Bier Jus and Schloss Kraut.

The best part is Albert’s Schloss is family friendly with under-18s welcomed until 8pm Monday – Thursday and by 6pm on Friday – Sunday. If you’d like to bring your dog along for the Schloss experience, they are also welcome until 7pm daily.

Albert’s Schloss’ Cook Haus offering runs from 9am right up until 10pm so you can fill your hungry tums before dancing the night away and visiting their famous disco loo.
