Review: Hot Wheels Monster Trucks Live Glow-n-Fire

Hot Wheels latest live experience will be roaring into Liverpool’s M&S Bank Arena this weekend. The popular toy trucks are brought to life with some of the most recognised trucks taking to the floor for a tournament.

The premise of the show is fairly simple. The trucks battled it out in different challenges to showcase their skills – including donuts, jumping over cars and vans and then they are given a performance score. There is tonnes of audience involvement with the entire arena involved.

This experience is loud, really loud, so for the younger fans and those with sensitive ears, ear defenders are a must (and are on sale at the merchandise stands).

The show has two lively hosts who are fantastic at keeping the audience engaged and the show on track. You can expect everything from competitions, give aways and a dance off.

Glow’n’Fire also features  a new monster HW 5-Alarm, a fire truck who as well as some truly breath taking stunts from Freestyle Motocross racers completing phenomenal stunts.

It is clear no expense has been spared in the creation of this live show. Real cars are crushed under the wheels of these beasts, showing the strength and power of the vehicles.

There are some fabulous moments, that are best left unspoilt, that cause rapture in the audience. This show attracts families, groups and people of all ages really speaking to how the Hot Wheels brand remains a deep rooted family favourite.

Hot Wheels Monster Trucks Glow ‘n’ Fire will be taking up residency in Liverpool with shows at 11.30am and 6.30pm on both Saturday and Sunday. Tickets are still available here.
