Sexy US singer Michael Bolton played a sell out gig at Liverpool Philharmonic Hall and what a show he put on.
Opening with his classic Soul Provider, the 57 year old looked rather dashing in his stone-washed jeans, white shirt and velvet jacket.
Bolton's fans were not disappointed when the 80's star sang some of his best known hits such as 'To Love Somebody', 'Dock of the Bay', 'I Said I Loved You...but I Lied', 'Time, Love and Tenderness', and 'Steel Bars.' He also treated his army of adoring females to a spine tingling version of 'Nessun Dorma'.
Accompanied by a powerful backing band, which included Danish Sax player Michael Linton, the heart-throb took us back in time when he reinterpreted songs from the great Frank Sinatra 'That's Life' and 'New York' (insisting any fans who had not been to NY must go).
While Michael took a 5 minute breather, as did his lust-crazed fans, the audience were kept entertained by a fabulous solo from Michael Linton on his Saxophone. After a change of shirt, Bolton suddenly appeared from the back of the hall. Taking place on a small podium in the middle of the aisle before senerading us with the all time favourite 'When A Man Loves A Woman.'
The crowd went mad as the dishy star touched their grasping hands amidst a sea of camera flashes.
After nearly two hours, Michael went off stage but returned after rapturous shouts from both male and female fans demanding an encore.
Despite nearly pushing 60, Bolton proved he's still got it as he delivered a further 30mins of hits with the song from Disney's Hercules 'Go The Distance', his most famous number; 'How Am I Suppose To Live Without You' and finished with yet another classic 'Georgia On My Mind'
A truly fantastic evening, Michael Bolton looked and sounded just as good now as he did back in the day - the only thing missing was his pony tail!
