LEAP 2010 festival Director and Artistic Director of MDI Karen Gallagher said:

"2010 has been the best year for dance in Merseyside so far and with Liverpool City Council's continued commitment to dance via Culture Liverpool throughout the year has brought about increased investment to dance, culminating in this our first Dance on The Waterfront.

"It has been wonderful to support Walk the Plank and produce our very own MDI Riverside Dance Stage as part of the programme and we look forward to seeing dance continue to be centre stage as part of Liverpool's future events across the City”.
