The Feel Good Fairs launch this summer at the On the Waterfront festivals to celebrate the 2010 Year of Health and Wellbeing.
On 16th-18th July and 6th-8th August, Liverpool’s world-famous Pier Head and Albert Dock will be transformed into Britain’s greatest outdoor venue for the spectacular FREE On the Waterfront weekends.
The Feel Good Fairs feature over 60 different stallholders who will be ready to inspire and delight you, giving you the chance to connect with local artists and their handmade creations, be active and rediscover a forgotten talent, take notice and spark your curiosity, keep learning and try something new.
So come along to be inspired and give yourself the gift of feeling good!
The Feel Good Fairs will be at the Pier Head (in front of the Port of Liverpool building) 12-5pm on the Saturday and Sunday of both weekends.
Highlights of the Feel Good Fair include: the magnificent Can Cook Domes - join the chefs in the ‘Cook Along’; watch, cook and learn from one of their free 30-minute practical cookery sessions – where you leave with a meal you have prepared! To book a place on the ‘Cook Along’ please call 0151 650 6444.
There is also a chance to try a taster massage to sooth those aching joints and relieve stress. Or have a go at Singing your Socks Off or reveal your inner thespian with Merseyside Amateur Theatre.
You will also be able to meet local artists and designers; with a chance to buy the most unique gifts including paintings, textiles, accessories, beauty products, jewellery, ceramics, home wares and more!
There is also the chance to find out what’s happening at the Bluecoat and National Museums Liverpool and how to get involved. Plus lot’s more…
