One of South Liverpool's cultural gems has been recognised for its excellence in customer service.
Garston's Sudley House has had a sparkling year of success after seeing visitor numbers rocket from 18,000 to more than 70,000.
And the man behind the success has been recognised for his determined work to put the attraction firmly on the map.
Mark Harris, assistant business services manager, won the Outstanding Customer Service Award at the Liverpool Ambassador Awards back in March.
He followed that up by being on the shortlist for the Excellence in Customer Service award at the Mersey Partnership Awards.
Mark said: "It was a fantastic honour to win the award back in March and more recently represent South Liverpool in the Mersey Partnerships Tourism Awards.
"I was thrilled that the great work our staff do was acknowledged."
Both staff and visitors nominated Mark for the award, which saw him beat off competition from Liverpool John Lennon Airport and Liverpool City Council.
And the former customer services chief at the World Museum believes that the personal service that staff offer is key to their success.
Mark said: "The one-to-one service that we can offer visitors is second to none.
"This has got to be the main reason why we have seen visitor numbers increase by 60 per cent in the last year."
The South Liverpool attraction has seen visitor numbers increase dramatically and works with a range of organisations including Waterloo Hospital, Merseycare and Knowsley Services, to make
Sudley House a vital part of the community.
He added: "We work with the community as much as we can and part of my job is to embed Sudley House firmly in the community to let people in the area know how unique this attraction is.
"Working with community groups is a great way to give the local community some ownership and we will continue to make this place a cultural gem of the city.
"We have some fantastic displays and facilities here at Sudley and are delighted to be a part of the best collection of exhibitions outside of London."
