On Saturday 31st July for one night only, the incomparable and enigmatic Jerry Lee Lewis comes to life at Crosby Civic Hall.

Killer - The Jerry Lee Lewis Story is a brand new show that is currently selling out across the UK and is now set to embark on Sefton.

The event brings to life, the story of one of the greatest characters in rock n roll, Jerry Lee Lewis, who first hit international recognition in 1957 and quickly developed a reputation as the first wild man of rock.

And without doubt rock n roll's most exciting performer, his nickname of 'Killer' accurately reflecting the dynamism of his stage show. It was not unusual for him to destroy pianos on stage and was even known to set them alight!

Emma Lloyd, Sefton Arts Marketing Manager said: "Crosby Civic Hall is becoming an established venue for quality entertainment and 'Killer - The Jerry Lee Lewis story' continues the quality.

"It is fast paced, with great music from one of the most renowned rock and roll stars. If you are looking for a great night of music and fun, this will be the best ticket in town."

This brand new, exhilarating show tells the story of Jerry Lee from his meteoric rise to fame through hits such as 'Great Balls of Fire' and 'Whole Lotta Shakin' to his equally as fast fall from grace, back to his reinstatement as one of music's biggest names with his triumphal return to the top in the mid 1960s when he performed at The Star Club in Hamburg.

Featuring more than 20 of his hits and performed with energy that the Killer himself would have been proud of, this is a show that will appeal to both those who were brought up with rock n roll or who are discovering it for the first time.

Killer - The Jerry Lee Lewis Story is on Saturday 31st July at 7.30pm. Tickets are only £13 and are available by calling box office on 01704 540011 / 0151 928 1919 or book online at www.seftonarts.co.uk
