Liverpool Anglican Cathedral is offering a Mother's Day lunch.

The three-course meal can be bought next Sunday (14 March) at the cathedral's Western Rooms and costs £19.50.

Its menu includes poached monkfish, beef and tiramisu cake. A children's menu, of chicken fillets and potato wedges, costs £5.50.

Dean of Liverpool Cathedral, Justin Welby, said: "Families may wish to attend a service at the cathedral in the morning beforehand, or simply come along for the lunch."

Music comes from the cathedral choir and guests can look around the building - including the Great Space Tour - after the meal.
