Liverpool Sound City has unveiled three new acts to play at the music festival.
Iconic Manchester band The Fall and peers Delphic perform at the O2 Academy2 and Academy1 respectively on May 19th, while Welsh heroes The Blackout will appear at the Masque on 21 May.
The Fall's frontman Mark E Smith was heralded by the late John Peel and the band are set to release an impressive 28th album in the coming year.
Fellow Mancunians Delphic released their debut, 'Acolyte', earlier in 2010 and return to Liverpool after an explosive showing at Kazimier. They are supported by buzz bands Everything Everything and Egyptian Hip Hop.
The Blackout are looking to build on the success of their own debut, which hit the shelves two years ago.
Dave Pichilingi, Festival Director, said: "We are proud to present a truly legendary band in the shape of The Fall."
