Liverpool-born artist and sculptor, Joel Bird is celebrating his ongoing success in America after receiving another coveted invitation, for the third year running, to exhibit his latest sublime collection in the renowned Tyme Gallery, Philadelphia.

Art aficionados across America, from Philadelphia, Allentown, Florida to New York, have expressed their appreciation for Liverpool artist, Joel Bird and have commissioned his work for public and private sales.

His transcendent earthy collection – which focuses on the harmony of the natural world through sympathetic and charming depiction of landscapes and peoples’ interaction with their environment - really connects with his growing US audience.

Joel Bird’s work resonates beyond America following a recent invite to exhibit at the hugely prestigious Florence Biennial. True testament to the Liverpool artist’s unique and celebrated talent.

Joel Bird, who derives much of his inspiration from Liverpool, will be exhibiting the collection at Calderstones Park before it goes to Philadelphia.

The exhibition starts on the 15TH – 21st Feb 2010 in the Coach House.

Joel Bird commented: “The lines of flux and flow in my art are an attempt to reconcile our duality as nature has. I visualize magnetic fields, knots in wood or water erosion in rock. To me they also represent how our subconscious relationship with our memories and feelings determine how we see the present moment. “
