Liverpool Cavern Club to host benefit gig for victims of Haiti earthquake

Following the dreadful events in Haiti, leaving thousands dead and even more clinging to hope, a benefit gig will be taking place at the Cavern Club in Liverpool on Friday 29th January 2010.

Musicians that have offered their services to the line-up so far are include: Brian Nash (Frankie Goes To Hollywood), Nigel Clarke (Dodgy), Ian Prowse (Amsterdam, Pele), Alun Parry, Darren Poyzer & Clare "Fluff" Smith and compere for the evening will be the amazing Frank Sidebottom!

Tickets are now available for £10 through TicketWeb via www.love-haiti.org

All proceeds will go to Plan International UK www.plan-uk.org who already have people working hard in the heart of all affected areas.

The evening will include a fabulous prize auction, with prizes donated from Liverpool FC, autographed merchandise from musicians from far and wide and much more.
