Liverpool Acoustic Live event confirmed

Some of the Northwest's most promising acoustic acts will take to the stage at the next Liverpool Acoustic Live event.

The gig will be held on Friday 22nd January at the View Two Gallery on Matthew Street.

Performing on the night will be Sparkwood & 21, who have a growing reputation as one of the best live bands to have emerged from Liverpool in recent years.

The group released their debut album 'By The Water's Edge' in September 2009 and was described by Americana UK as "music so beautiful, you'll be weeping into your shoes."

Also performing at the event will by Andy Chandler, Vinny T Spen and Suzanne Jones.

Lancashire man, Chandler made a name for himself after touring with award-winning soul singer Nate Jones.

Vinny T Spen impressed greatly when he performed at Alun Parry's album launch last year.

Former lead singer of Liverpool band The Frocks, Suzanne Jones has returned to the acoustic scene as a solo artist after an eight year absence.
