The first in a series of "intimate and illuminating ‘In Conversation With…’ events" takes place at the Hope Street Hotel tonight.
Organised by Club Geek Chic, internationally renowned music journalist Paul Du Noyer will be getting interviewed followed by an audience question and answer session.
Geek Chic are planning to host a range of evenings where "a famous Liverpool son or daughter whose thoughts, words or deeds have set them apart from others" will be grilled.
This evening's event will see Geek Chic's musical director Michael Neary leading the questions for Liverpool born Du Noyer.
Du Noyer has interviewed some of the biggest names in music including David Bowie, Paul Weller and Madonna.
He is the author of the critically acclaimed book "Liverpool a Wondrous Place" which charters the history of Merseyside music.
There will also be acoustic performances of some of Paul's top 100 Liverpool songs.
The event takes place from 7.30pm tonight, Friday 18th September, in the
5th Floor Function Suite of the Hope Street Hotel. The new suite boasts some of the best views of the city.
Guests are encouraged to arrive in good time as the interview will begin promptly at 8pm.
A small bar selling a selection of wines, beers and spirits will be open
before the interview and during breaks.
Tickets are £12 and are available
via the Club Geek Chic website (www.clubgeekchic.co.uk) or on the door.
