TV-favourites Su Pollard (Hi-De-Hi), and David McAlister (Hollyoaks, Eastenders) star in the heart-warming musical Annie, as it returns to Liverpool's Empire Theatre for one week only.

First staged in 1976, this latest production promises to maintain all of Annie's memorable score, featuring the songs It's a Hard Knock Life, Easy Street, and the legendary Tomorrow, which have cemented it's reputation as one a huge family favourite.

Star of stage and screen Su pollard reprises her role as the dastardly Miss Hannigan, while star of Brideshead Revisited and Hollyoaks, David McAlister, makes a welcome return as billionaire businessman Oliver Warbucks.

With brilliantly visual choreography and a side-splittingly funny script, the latest incarnation of Annie promises to be as heart-warming and funny as the first time you ever saw it.

Annie will be running at the Liverpool empire from 7-12 September 2009, for just one week.

Tickets are priced #10-#26, and are available from the Liverpool Empire box office on 0844 847 2525, or at www.liverpoolempire.org.uk
