
New Wave legends The Specials are set to perform at the Olympia theatre later this year as part of Liverpool Music Week 2009.
The Coventry outfit will officially launch their national tour when they play at the venue on Thursday 29 October.
Europe's biggest indoor festival will see 80 events held across 20 city centre venues with over 300 live acts expected to perform.
Joining the two-tone veterans in the festival are Kasabian, The Enemy and Reverand and the Makers in addition to punk rock band The Gallows who will be appearing at the O2 Academy on 28th November.
