
Calling all Michael Jackson fans - this is your chance to remember The King of Pop in all his glory.
Thriller - Live, the acclaimed West End concert spectacular, has announced that it will embark on a 10-date UK arena tour, including the Echo Arena Liverpool on 4 December 2009.
For this specially produced arena production, Thriller - Live will bring to life on stage the high energy pulsating sound of pop’s greatest hits.
Join fellow fans in celebration as the non-stop hits just keep on coming from a selection including “I’ll Be There”, “Man in The Mirror”, “Can You Feel It”, Rock With You”, “She’s Out Of My Life”, ”Thriller”, “Beat It”, “Ben”, “ABC”, “Dirty Diana”, “Billie Jean”, “Earth Song”, and many, many more.
The show will feature eye-popping video footage and special effects, together with dazzling choreography by the show’s award-winning director and choreographer, Gary Lloyd, who has previously worked with Leona Lewis, Will Young, Gareth Gates, Emma Bunton, Robbie Williams, Pink, Anastacia, Lemar, Rachel Stevens, Kelly Clarkson and Girls Aloud.
Thriller - Live recently announced a separate worldwide tour, starting in Munich, Germany, from July 21 – August 2.
Additional dates have so far been confirmed in Barcelona, Cologne, Zurich, Vienna, Frankfurt, Paris, Amsterdam, Prague, Warsaw, Copenhagen, Helsinki and Berlin.
The production will also tour most other European countries as well as embarking on an extensive American tour within the next 12 months.
Thriller - Live continues its record-breaking West End run. Recently a further 100,000 tickets went on sale as the West End production extended its run to Sunday January 3, 2010.
Thriller - Live was originally conceived and created by the Executive Director of the show, Adrian Grant, a long time associate of Michael Jackson, and author of “Michael Jackson – The Visual Documentary”.
Adrian said: "Thriller - Live started off in 2006 as a celebration of Michael Jackson's great music and artistry.
"Whilst I am still coming to terms with Michael's sad and tragic passing, I am glad that Thriller - Live can continue as a fitting tribute to his memory and legacy as the King of Pop."
