The gloves are off for the biggest comedy bout in the history of stand up as Liverpool comics take on the big boys heading to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival at Liverpool's Capital of Comedy throughout July.

Capital of Comedy boss Paula Harrington explained: "Our Liverpool acts wanted a chance to air their new material and come together to showcase the finest the city has to offer.
