Mike McCartney has opened a ‘mini ’60s’ photo gallery with pics of his Beatle brother Paul with John Lennon rehearsing in the Cavern and two pictures of Mike’s own group The Scaffold.

His favourite snapshots from the decade can be seen at the Beat Goes On exhibition in the World Museum Liverpool.

These and others from Mike’s collection will be moving onto the new Museum of Liverpool when it opens in late 2010.

Watch this space for news of another special Mike McCartney gallery with prints for sale to raise funds for Claire House hospice on the Wirral.

I enjoyed the dialog & photographs. As the daughter of one of the greatest Jazz musicians of all time, I appreciate music history. Bravo!!

It's great that Mike McCartney is using his fantastic photography skills for charity. He's a great children's book author too!
