Liverpool Music Week Founder/Director comments: "This was the biggest and best festival to date and proves that Liverpool Music Week is still the city's favourite new music and the UK's most loved winter festival.

"The public response to our incredibly eclectic programme was immense and we want to thank all the gig-goers, the artists, the venues, and the organisers who took part in this year's showpiece.

"In particular we'd like to thank our main partners MTV, EDC and the Liverpool Culture Company, without whom we could not have fulfilled our huge ambitions for this year’s festival. Roll on 2009!"
