Liverpool's finest musicians and comedians are coming together for a spectacular one night only show.

The event ‘Music With Laughter’ returns with a brand new show to the Liverpool Empire on Saturday 22nd October.

It will be headlined by The Christians, whose chart topping hits include Ideal World and Forgotten Town.

The line up also includes comedy from BBC Radio Merseyside presenter Sean Styles, and Liverpool legends Stevie Riks, Joe Wall, Johnny Kennedy, Willie Miller plus an eclectic selection of local music from Alternative Radio, Jade Tremarco, The Gary Murphy Band and Brian ‘Saxophone’ Jones and TV and musical theatre star Mark Moraghan.

The show’s producer, Gary Murphy said: “After the success of the last Music With Laughter show back in April (headlined by China Crisis) it was obvious by the audience reaction that this type of variety theatre was extremely popular and we couldn’t wait to get started on the next one.”

Co- producer, Rob Fennah, added: “Not only do we want to give our audience a great night out; we also want to give them good value for money.

"With thirteen top acts on the same bill, Music With Laughter is the biggest variety show to hit town in years so I think we’ve done that.”

Millions of people around the world have watched impressionist Stevie Riks do his hilarious impersonations of The Beatles, David Bowie and The Gallagher brothers on You Tube and the BBC.

Now hailed by many critics as the most original impressionist around, Rob said: “This will be an opportunity for everyone to see Stevie perform live on stage. He’s absolutely brilliant and is sure to bring the house down!”

The show is hosted by Billy Butler and will also feature a special guest appearance by rising blues and country star, Delta Maid whose debut album ‘Outside Looking In’ was released in May to rave reviews.
