The Arteries, a Swansea based punk band are all set to thrill music fans across Liverpool when they come to town next month.
The band will be supported by local up and coming- fellow punk band, Chief.
Bumper, Liverpool’s quirky central nightspot is to host the gig as both acts look to reignite the punk scene on Merseyside.
With cheap drinks and fantastic music until the early hours, it promises to be a memorable night at the student hotspot.
Clearly, the Welsh group are relishing the occasion. They enthused:
“We aren’t trying to change the world, we are just a bunch of friends that like to play music together. We want you to come and join in the party!”
From Chief’s early days, they have gathered a reputation for their energetic live shows and are renowned for a blisteringly fast melodic hardcore style, with ‘clinical execution’.
In fact their reputation has continued to grow, playing over 400 shows across the UK and Europe, a feat which has seen them play in Radio 1’s Live Lounge.
Organiser of the event, Owen Day is also very excited about the night. He said:
“The Arteries and Chief are both fantastic. These guys just want to play their music to as many people as possible, something that is lacking in today’s industry”.
The event will take place on Tuesday 8th February, doors will be open from 8pm until 4am. Entry is £4 and tickets can be purchased in advance or on the night.
