Scouse comedian John Bishop has announced an extra date at the Echo arena when his tour comes to Liverpool this Christmas.
Funnyman Bishop's Sunshine Tour was originally scheduled at the Kings Dock venue for 17th and 18th December, but a third date was added following the shows popularity.
Now it has been announced that the 43-year-old will take to the stage for a fourth night on 20th December to meet the phenomenal demand for tickets.
Echo arena sales manager Ian Congdon said: "The demand for John Bishop tickets has been absolutely phenomenal.
"His fourth show in December will be his fifth show at the Echo Arena this year, having already appeared here in May to a sell-out crowd.
"We are very excited to be welcoming him back for what will no doubt be another hilarious evening of comedy entertainment!"
Runcorn-born Bishop's career has gone stratospheric over the last 12 months, with TV appearances on Michael McIntyre Comedy Roadshow, Live at the Apollo and, most recently, his own prime time Saturday night BBC comedy show John Bishop’s Britain cementing his status as a comedy genius.
His sell-out arena tour included a homecoming show in front of 9,000 people at the ECHO arena in May.
Promoter Ed Smith said: "We are delighted that John is doing so well.
"When we put the first of these dates on sale earlier this year we had no idea that it would prove to be such a colossal hit.
"It’s fantastic that he is enjoying his time in the sunshine - he has certainly earned it!"
