The classic tale of Wind In The Willows brings quality children's theatre back to Southport.

The production of Kenneth Graham's wonderful tale of the riverbank adventures with ratty; Toad, Mole and Badger can be seen at Christ Church Southport on Saturday 21st August at 11.30am with tickets just £5.50.

From Ratty's picnic with Mole, to the troublesome Mr Toad and his love for driving Motor Cars, this production is sure to captivate and entertain.

Why does Toad get locked in prison? How does he escape? Kenneth Grahame's wonderful tale is brought to life in glorious Technicolour, right before your very eyes through storytelling, music and comedy.

Emma Lloyd, Sefton Arts Marketing Manager said:

"Southport Arts Centre had built a reputation over the last 6 years for its fabulous children's theatre, and with the redevelopment-taking place until 2012, it is important that Sefton residents know that such entertainment it is still available to them.

"We are working hard to find new venues for children's theatre and Christ Church is perfect and seats 350 people comfortably.

"We hope that all the people who supported us when we were in Southport Arts Centre, continue to do so in our temporary venues, so that we can continue to provide quality storytelling that inspires our younger audiences and keeps them entertained throughout"

What became of chief Weasel? Does Toad ever return to Toad Hall, or is he destined to a life without his country home?
