Do you play in a band, sing in a choir, or are you a member of an orchestra, or a musical ensemble of any kind?

If the answer is yes, then would you like the opportunity to perform in front of a large audience on the only floating and moving stage in the country?

As part of the celebrations for the 2010 International Bootle Festival, Sefton Leisure department, in association with Creative Universe are looking for talented musicians across Sefton, to perform on the state of the art floating barge.

The barge will be floating down the Leeds-Liverpool canal, calling people from all around to join the parade and get involved in the fun.

It will able to accommodate rock bands, choirs, brass bands, steel bands, classical and chamber ensembles, drumming groups - almost any type of musical group you can think of.

In order to select the musicians that will perform in the Canal Festival, live heats will be held at Bootle Strand on Saturday 11th of September between 12pm and 4pm.

If you think your group has what it takes to perform at the festival, please contact icf@creativeuniverse.co.uk for an application form or alternatively visit www.seftonarts.co.uk and download the form.
