One part of Destiny's Child Kelly Rowland admits she is a huge fan of David Guetta and he had her in tears when he asked her to sing vocals.
The R&B singer got emotional and broke down in tears when he played her the track 'When Love Takes Over' and said her voice would fit it perfectly.
A feel-good Summer hit 'When Love Takes Over' went straight to number one in the UK, France and the US and is setting dance floors ablaze worldwide.
28-year-old Kelly has scooped two number ones - her first number 1 with Nelly 'Dilemma' in 2002 - and four Top 10 hits since splitting from girl-group Destiny's Child.
A long-time fan of house music, Kelly had been hitting the European clubs with Beyonce's sister Solange where she first heard David's floorfiller anthems.
Kelly said: "David and I met in the South of France. This sounds like the beginning of a romantic novel!
"But it was so funny, because I was a fan of David’s at the time and I was like, “Oh my god!” Me and Solange would hear David’s records in the clubs and go crazy here in Europe."
She said she had an instant connection with the house producer when they met and it was perfect timing for her to move into dance music.
Kelly said: "When I finally met him - his wife Cathy was there as well - I fell in love with his spirit first.
"I never ever connect with people, but I instantly liked David. He started playing tracks and I started loving him even more.
"At the time, I was really bored with R&B and I wanted something refreshing.
"He was a breath of fresh air. I still feel like that to this day.
"There’s a reason that we met at that certain time. So when he played the track from When Love Takes Over I cried!
"There’s so much emotion behind it, it’s big, it has such a great presence."
'When Love Takes Over' is the third number 1 smash hit from the Creamfields line-up, joining Calvin Harris' 'You're Not Alone' and Dizzee Rascal's 'Bonkers.'
