Fresh from playing Glastonbury, where she designed her own poncho, singer-turned-fashionista VV Brown has launched her new online boutique vv vintage.
In between hanging out with Dizzee Rascal, and supporting the Ting Tings and Ladyhawke VV has been hunting down unique pieces which she has modified and customised before adding them to the online store.
The site has a homemade DIY style and VV appears to be posing in all the clothes herself - couldn't she rope any of her buddies into modelling?
Despite the adoration of fashion magazines and her flair for retro style she's still a little nervous about her new venture.
The 5' 11" former Select model VV Brown said: "So it's finally up and running and I must say I am a little nervous.
"I love being creative and this is all in love. I get so bored I just like putting my energy into different artistic projects.
"I sewed and cut and added bits and bobs and here is a mini vintage collection.
"I have a little storage room where I work on stuff and I must say my house is becoming a bit of a mad hatter area of clothes, keyboards and weird things.... very much like a jumble sale shop or something."
VV vintage specializes in unique customized, fun pieces and features 30 pieces from purple jumpsuits to oversized 80s power blazers with Dynasty-esque shoulder pads.
VV Brown, real name Vanessa Brown was a judge on MAC House of Diehl Style Wars panel where competitors created fashion pieces from scratch and is signed to Capitol Records, home to quirky pop singers Lily Allen and Katy Perry.
She's been working with Groove Armada on a new track and her single Shark is due for release on 6 July. Her debut album Travelling Like The Light is available on 13 July.
