The city's biggest rising star will return to the Liverpool stage this month for the 2010 Summer Pops festival.
Kirkby-born Stephen Langstaff is rapidly becoming one of the UK's most prolific singer songwriters
Fresh from touring with Liverpool legends The Lightning Seeds, and as part of the O2 'Academy Live' tour, Stephen headlines the Summer Pops stage on Friday 30th July at the Liverpool Guild of Student's Stanley Theatre.
Stephen said: "I'm really excited to be part of The Summer Pops Festival this year.
"2010 has been a great year already for me and to headline in my hometown is special."
With a recent top 5 spell for his infectious anthem ‘Saw the Angels’ in the Amazon download chart as well as upcoming festival dates, his confidence is understandably riding high.
And with a number of UK tours, festival appearances and record breaking gigs behind him, Stephen is attracting more and more support for his already loyal following and a reputation that has gone from strength to strength.
He added: "I'm really lucky to have loyal supporters. And for anyone who has never seen me live before, this gig is perfect."
Tickets are £12 and are available at the 02 academy Box Office & www.ticketline.co.uk
