Making every effort to defy the short lived meaning of their band name, The Temps are planning on sticking around. And to prove that they mean business the band are putting their punk-indie fused stamp all over Liverpool’s music scene by headlining the O2 academy.

Fresh from Anti-Pop’s stable of diverse and impressive bands The Temps will headline the O2 Academy on Saturday 3rd July.

The Temps have quickly gained a reputation as one of the most electrifying live acts around; making no attempt to restrain themselves once they hit the stage.

The band have come a long way since their formation and as front-man Joey explains headlining the O2 academy is a real achievement for the lads:

"It’s really exciting to be able to headline in the academy, and it’s will be nice to play that type of gig.

“I feel as though the band has grown a lot together since forming, changing our sound pretty radically in the process, I just hope we can go further in the next few months."

The Temps have been described by Band of Skulls as the “…the best band in Liverpool”, combine that with a fresh set, new material and maybe the odd surprise thrown in, and you have one gig that is definitely not to be missed.
