Award winning indie rockers Athlete will be coming to Liverpool as part of a new UK tour.
To celebrate the release of the album Athlete: “The Singles 01:10” due out in September, the band have announced a 13 date UK tour for November and December.
The tour, which will see Athlete performing all their singles to date from all their acclaimed albums spanning their 10 year career, comes to Liverpool's O2 Academy on Tuesday 16th September.
Since bouncing to prominence eight years ago with the spirited, electro-tinged, indie-pop of their Mercury-nominated debut, ‘Vehicles And Animals’, Athlete have established themselves among the UK's finest songsmiths.
The south east Londoners have sold more than a million copies of their three hit albums and bagged a prestigious Ivor Novello award.
This singles collection and tour will include fan favourites such as ‘Wires’, ‘Beautiful’, 'You Got The Style', 'Hurricane', “Superhuman Touch”, “Westside” and “El Salvador” plus many more.
