The Charlatans are heading to Liverpool as part of their latest tour.
Madchester's survivors will play the O2 Academy on October 11 to promote their latest album Who We Touch, which is out later in the summer.
Tickets for the tour, with support from fellow Northern stalwart Shaun Ryder, go on sale this coming Friday (June 4).
Most of the Tim Burgess-led band's biggest singles came out during the culturally significant Britpop years of the nineties.
They included North Country Boy and How High, while You're So Pretty - We're So Pretty followed in 2001.
