Dinosaur Jr head to the Liverpool in May, in support of their latest album “Farm” – their ninth studio album proper, and the second since their infamous reunion in 2005.
Ranking very high on many critics end-of-year round ups, the actual CD pressing caused some confusion upon its release.
The first batch of CD’s were mastered incorrectly and ended up being 3 decibels LOUDER than planned – even better!
According to Time Out:
“…you’re either blown into submission by their grunge-encrusted riffs, the jet roar volume at which they play, their crucial pivot-on-a-penny pauses, and Mascis’s curiously affected slacker whine – or you’re a lily livered wuss."
Dinosaur Jr play Liverpool's O2 Academy on the 9th May.
