Chart toppers Scouting For Girls to play Liverpool University

Scouting For Girls continue their reign at the top of the charts for the second week in a row.

The band entered the charts at number one with new single this Ain’t A Love Song and this week sees them keep tight hold of that top spot.

This Ain’t A Love Song is the first single to be taken from their forthcoming second album, ‘Everybody Wants To Be On TV’.

Scouting For Girls have already seen mainstream success with their self titled debut album, which generated six hit singles and was the 10th biggest selling album of 2008.

Everybody Wants To Be On TV looks set to follow this success as single This Ain’t A Love Song knocked pop vixen Lady Gaga from the top spot.

This is Scouting For Girls first number one, selling over 71,000 units in its first week of release alone.

Scouting For Girls release their new album on the 12th April through Epic Records. The band will also play Liverpool University on the 29th April.
