
Local musician Daniel Rogers, best known for his work with Liverpool band Metro Manila Aide, is to join multi-million selling songwriter Sami Yusuf on his upcoming world tour.
Yusuf, 'Islam's biggest rockstar' according to Time magazine, sets off on the world tour in April.
His first two albums Al-Mu'allim and My Ummah selling over six-million copies collectively worldwide.
Dan Rogers, 29, joins Jon Lawton, 24, founder of Crosstown Recording Studios and Liverpool hard rockers Eighth Day Army, to make up the guitar section of this spectacular live show.
Lawton recently flew to Dubai to work on the forthcoming album from Sami Yusuf.
Daniel Rogers said, "I am delighted. This is a chance to perform with one of the most famous artists in the world."
Sami Yusuf is one is the biggest Muslim stars in the world recently collaborated with Ian Brown on a number of songs for his forthcoming album.
The Sami Yusuf tour starts April with shows in Belgium and Denmark.
