Mellowtone - "Liverpool's premier acoustic clubnight" - have two shows coming up in the city, firstly a delta blues spectacular, in association with The Masque, followed by singer-songwriter David Ford making a welcome return to Mellowtone in February.
David Ford, whose last few tours have featured a band of 15 musicians and a stage full to bursting with extraordinary and often bizarre home made musical instruments is stripping things right back for his forthcoming February dates throughout England.
His Liverpool date at the View Two Gallery on 24th February will also feature support from Nordic songstress Ragz and more acts soon to be confirmed.
Before Ford's Mellowtone return however, the acoustic club night drops by The Masque on 22nd January to present a stellar lineup headlined by Delta Maid with support from SJ Downes, Naomi Mather and Dan Wilson. Beaten Tracks DJs Richie Vegas & Jonnie O'Hare will also be making their presence felt on the decks throughout the night.
