Rock & Blues Guitarist Jonathan Casey, 22, is looking forward to meeting Brian May when he is presented with his 1st Class Honours Degree in Law from Liverpool John Moores University.
Jonathan attended Sacred Heart School Crosby prior to his studies at LJMU.
Playing Guitar since the age of 12, he was inspired by musical greats Stevie Ray Vaughan and the three Kings, BB King, Albert & Freddie King.
His hobbies also include playing for Waterloo Rugby Club.
But he hopes his kindered love of guitar playing will stand him in good stead when he receives his degree next month.
It is believed he may pick it up from rock legend May who is the chancellor of the university.
Jonathan who plays for the Jonathan Casey Blues Band said: "It would be a real privilege and honour to meet such an accomplished guitarist.
"It really would be the icing on the cake for me if it happens"
