In celebration of 50 years since The Beatles’ first performed at the legendary Cavern Club and changed the face of pop music forever, BOBCOM, the UK’s leading online music community for independent artists, shines a spotlight on some of the brightest stars emerging from the independent scene.
Following BOBCOM’s nationwide Fasttrack competition, 2 artists will have the career boosting opportunity to showcase their talents and perform to industry figureheads alongside John Lennon’s first band, The Quarrymen. Previous Fasttrack winners, folk songstress Kristina Cox and rock-funk Banned Sauce, will also be joining the bill having already performed on Channel 4 and recorded at Abbey rd Studios through BOBCOM’s initiatives.
Kicking off the festivities will be BOBCOM’s very own Magical History Tour bus, which will transport partygoers, Fasttrack winners and The Quarrymen themselves around Liverpool, alighting at some of The Beatles’ most significant landmarks to perform. Starting at Woolton Church Hall 10.30am, the venue in which Paul Mcartney first met John Lennon and The Quarrymen, BOBCOM’s Magical History Tour will spread carnival celebrations across Liverpool until the finalé performance held for FREE at the Cavern Club 7pm.
