Liverpool's fastest growing radio station, 107.6 Juice FM, has bagged a nomination for the prestigious Sony Radio Academy Awards.
Juice FM Breakfast with Adam and Leanne has been shortlisted in the 'Breakfast Show of the Year' category
The 'Sony's' are the radio industry's version of the Brits or the Baftas, recognising the finest talent in UK radio.
Breakfast show newsreader Chris 'Chambo' Chambers said: "Simply to be shortlisted as a nominee is a huge achievement and we’re delighted."
Station Director, Graham Sarath, added: "This is an outstanding achievement for the Juice Breakfast team and a deserved reward for the hard work that Adam, Leanne and Chambo put in to the show on daily basis.
"We’ve known for a long time that we have the best breakfast show in the market place, but to have this recognised on national level at such a prestigious event is fantastic.
"When you consider the competition across the country that we have been up against in this category it makes me very proud of the entire programming team to achieve such a nomination."
The Award ceremony itself takes place at the Grosvenor Hotel, London on Monday 9th May.
