This year, welcomes the 20th Anniversary of the release of the multi-million selling Spin Doctors album Pocketful of Kryptonite which reached number two in the UK charts.

To celebrate the event Sony Records will be releasing a special anniversary edition of the album and the band will be conducting a World tour – playing the whole of the album for the first time ever.

The Spin Doctors, a pseudo-hippy, jam-orientated blues rock band were formed in New York City in the late eighties.

The album Pocketful of Kryptonite was released in 1991 and soon became a big hit around the World with sales in excess of five million.

The single Two Princes was also a massive hit and reached number three in the UK charts.

In the UK alone the Spin Doctors enjoyed two big hit albums with 1994’s follow up to Kryptonite, Turn It Upside Down reaching number three in the charts and a total of eight chart singles.

A further three albums were released with varying degrees of success before the band took a short rest from touring.

Now twenty years on the classic line up returns to perform Pocketful of Kryptonite in its entirety. This is a show not to be missed!
