
Having just completed a massive sold out tour of the UK, taking in two London shows and finishing in their home town of Liverpool, legendary rockers Cast are have just been announced as headliners for this year’s Liverpool Sound City Festival.
Described by Noel Gallagher as a “religious experience” live, Cast were called The Who of the 90s.
Their epoch All Change album remains a revered classic, and after reforming in summer last year, Liverpool Sound City cannot wait to host the city’s prodigal sons in May.
Next month the band head back into the studio with John Leckie to record a brand new album.
The album is set for release in early 2011 with the aid of cutting-edge, direct to fan music model PledgeMusic.
Catch indie legends Cast @ Liverpool Sound City on Saturday 21st May 2011 at Metropolitan Cathedral Crypt.
