It may only be January but preparations are already under-way for this year's Sound City festival.
As one of Liverpool's biggest music festival approaches young bands are being offered the chance to play at the festival.
Sound City Youth Live will give 16-19 year old bands and artists, of any musical style, the chance to play a gig at the coolest city festival in May 2011.
To be in with a chance of securing a much coverted place bands and artists can apply to youthlive@liverpoolsoundcity.co.uk
Be sure to include the band's name, ages, contact number, email address and myspace links.
The second heat is to take place on Saturday 15th January 2011 at the Picket Music venue Liverpool, and the third heat follows on Saturday 29th January. February dates are to be confirmed.
Winners will receive FREE studio time, a photo-shoot, managament advice and lots of other goodies to kickstart their career!
