New mum Coleen Rooney has spoken of the trials and tests of motherhood as she enjoyed a rare 'day off' with family and friends at Aintree.
The wife of England and Manchester Utd soccer star Wayne Rooney, Coleen was provided with a private suite on Day 2 of the Grand National Meeting.
In her elevated role as judge of the fashion competition the yummy mummy shunned any thought of multi-coloured dresses and a spray tan and looked the picture of elegance in "little black dress"designed by Matthew Williamson.
This was complimented with a sequinned bag by Miu Miu and Christian Louboutin cutaway shoes.
Style icon Coleen went for high-key make-up and eye-catching accessories but kept her hair simple for the long slog of Ladies Day with a high ponytail
Coleen was clearly proud to show of the slim figure that she regained after the birth of her first child Kai Wayne.
It was her seventh visit to Ladies Day and speaking on ITV's Granada Reports regional TB show Coleen said: "I absolutely love coming to Ladies' Day. It's just a big event for everyone.
"I love the whole process of picking an outfit, getting your make-up done and your hair done and coming - and just the atmosphere here is unbelievable, especially today with the weather being so nice."
Speaking about the trial of motherhood, she said: "I absolutely love it. It's hard - I am not going to say it's not - but now it's just getting used to things. He is great and a really good baby so I am lucky."
She also revealed that she would be going to South Africa to see Wayne in the World Cup only if England progress through the initial group stage.
