Sam Worthington wouldn’t stop talking about Avatar on the set of his new movie, Gemma Arterton has revealed.
The actress stars alongside Sam in Clash of the Titans, and was thrilled to be working with him. She quipped he spent much of the shoot discussing 3D sci-fi epic Avatar, which won three Oscars.
Sam couldn’t help comparing both the action movies, but Gemma says his conversation soon got a little boring.
“Yeah he did bang on about it quite a lot. Of course he did,” she laughed. “He would go on about the director of Avatar, James Cameron. ‘Jim, Jim, me and Jim. You know, Jim would say this and I would say that back.’ ”
Jason Flemyng also found Sam’s obsession with Avatar hard to bear. He says Sam seem obsessed with James, referring to him at all moments of the day and night.
She said: “You’d go, ‘What are you having for lunch Sam? I’m having the pasta and the chilli.’ And he’d say, ‘Jim would always have the chicken.’"
