Ashton Kutcher, star of the hit romantic comedy 'Valentine's Day', has confessed he can't stand the annual festival of love.

And after admitting hating February 14th, Kutcher has told his superstar wife Demi Moore not to expect a gift this year, instead he'll be sending flowers to 300 deserving women.

The star, who plays a love-lorn florist in the film, said: "I hate Valentine's Day. I can't stand it. I think that every day should be a day of romance.

"I think you should celebrate love 364 days out of the year. Then, on Valentine's Day, you should get to tell whoever you hate that you cannot stand them.

"There would be one day of hating, and 364 days of love."

Instead of splashing out on a romantic gift for gorgeous Demi, 47, the pair will be using their new charity to send romantic gestures to women worldwide.

The couple's DNA Foundation, which was launched on Monday, aims to offer support to young women who have been victims of sex trafficking.

Ashton, 32, said: "Demi and I have agreed that instead of doing the big thing for each other, we are going to celebrate by sharing our love with other people.

"We launched our foundation to help trafficking victims, and there are thousands of girls who don't have someone to be their Valentine this year.

"So Demi and I are going to send flowers to all of these girls as many as we can and make them our Valentines."
